41 Years of Accompaniment
We want our presence among refugees to be one of sharing with them, of accompaniment, of walking together along the same path.
JRS seeks to accompany, serve, and advocate the cause of refugees and other forcibly displaced people, that they may heal, learn and determine their own future.
Reconciliation JRS articulates reconciliation as a journey to “create right relationships” among the refugees we serve, between refugees and host communities, and among our own teams around the world.
Education JRS is committed to ensuring that children who are forced to flee their homes and communities are not deprived of their right to education and their path to a hopeful and productive future.
Livelihoods The Jesuit Refugee Service prioritizes innovative livelihood programs focused on self-reliance and sustainability.
